Family Photos at Magic Kingdom
Disney’s Magic Kingdom is one of our favorite places to take family photos. Not only does it have a thrilling, colorful, picture-perfect background, but it’s an outstanding place to get candid shots of kids playing and being their spirited selves – it’s the ultimate childhood playground.
The locale did not disappoint for Amy and Jason’s family portraits. They recently discovered that they’re about to welcome baby #5 (wow!), and of course, Disney is the perfect place to celebrate. After all, this family is no stranger to adventure – Mom and Dad were the winners of Amazing Race 23 back in 2013!
During the family’s photo session, we made sure that each person had their time in the spotlight. We took individual shots of every beautiful child, and we made sure to get plenty of portraits of Mom and Dad laughing and enjoying the day together too. There was plenty of time dedicated to the new incoming member of the family too, with a special pregnancy announcement onesie and a tiny set of mouse ears. Mom doesn’t have much of a baby bump yet, but we threw in a few precious portraits of her cradling her belly.
The entire family was dressed in matching outfits that were perfect for Disney, taking clear inspiration from everyone’s favorite mice. Throughout the session, we explored the park and captured plenty of candid shots of the kids just playing, enjoying the family outing, and having a great time – there’s no better way to make sure kids’ personalities shine through in family photos. We made certain to also highlight the Disney classics throughout the park, like the iconic Cinderella’s Castle and the wishing well, of course.
